First Pres Wilmette is a place where students can live out Jesus’ commandment to love God and one another. All are welcomed and loved as part of our faith community. As the body of Christ, each person has a unique and important gift to share with us. Youth of all ages will find a fun and welcoming community where students can worship, serve, and grow in faith together.
5th and 6th Graders are welcomed in our 5th-8th grade fellowship programming, meeting weekly on Sundays from 8:45 am until 9:45 am. Tower Senior High Youth – 9th-12th Graders
High school students are invited to be a part of Tower – a welcoming, inclusive, and fun community. Tower youth meet on a weekly basis, fall-spring, for a time of fellowship, faith, and fun. Tower gatherings help each of us grow deeper in our relationship with God and one another. Tower youth share their gifts and experiences through biblically-based discussion, games, and of course food! Weekly Tower gatherings begin at 5:00 pm with dinner to follow at 6:30 pm. Subscribe to the Google calendar to stay up-to-date on these opportunities.
Tower Summer Work Trip – Students choose a site each year for a week-long mission trip. This annual trip is a great way for students to connect, serve, and grow in their faith. Upon their return, Tower Youth lead us in a special worship in which they share and reflect on their week. Past work trips have included visits to Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Kentucky. The 2021 work trip was spent in Hazard, Kentucky building an affordable home. See what the local news had to say about our group of high school youth.
