Our worship services, whether held in the Sanctuary, Fellowship Garden, at Gillson Park, in our Chapel or through our livestream, are filled with joyous celebrations of all that God is doing in our lives. Join your friends and neighbors in the pew, participate in music, and enjoy special services offered throughout the year, from First Festival (in early September) to Advent, to Easter.

Worship exists at the center of our life, mission, and ministry. When we gather for weekly Sunday worship or for special services, we are rooted in the Reformed Presbyterian tradition, enhanced by the creative and inspiring musical and artistic gifts of our congregation. Most Sundays, we meet for worship at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary, livestreamed on YouTube, and, in the summer, at Gillson Park beginning at 8:00 am.

Sunday Worship

8:00 am – Gillson Park (ordinarily Father’s Day – Labor Day Sunday).

This is a casual, come-as-you-are communion service along the shore of Lake Michigan and surrounded by God’s creation. Bring a chair or blanket. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in our Chapel.

10:00 am – Sanctuary (throughout the year)

Every Sunday we gather to sing, pray, read scripture, and listen to the proclamation of the word. This vibrant service is led by our pastoral staff, a lay liturgist, and one or more of our music groups. Hymns are accompanied by organ, piano, and, occasionally, guitar. Children from pre-school through 4th grade begin worship with their families before heading to Children’s Chapel with their leaders. Our Nursery offers care for infants and toddlers. This morning service is also livestreamed on YouTube

11:00 am – Fellowship Hour follows 10:00 worship in the Church Lounge. We gather for refreshments while we connect with friends old and new. Guests are most welcome! This is a wonderful chance to get to know each other. In the summer, weather permitting, we enjoy lemonade on the lawn in the Fellowship Garden.

Holy Communion – We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.

Baptism – Baptisms of infants, older children, youth, and adults may take place throughout the year and can be arranged with one of the pastors.

Special Services Throughout the year, we hold worship services on different dates and times to celebrate Advent, Easter, First Festival, and more. On Christmas Eve, we usually hold two worship services, at 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm. On Easter Sunday, we usually hold two worship services, at 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
