Shorefront Legacy Center Exhibit
to Open in Our Chapel on January 29

The Racial Justice Committee is pleased to announce that Evanston’s Shorefront Legacy Center’s traveling exhibit will be open in our Chapel on January 29 from 11 am to noon. The exhibit focuses on Black History on Chicago’s Suburban North Shore. The center is a non-profit organization dedicated to recording, studying, and preserving the experiences of African Americans living in Chicago’s North Shore communities, particularly Evanston, Glencoe, and Lake Forest. Founding director Dino Robinson will speak during our service and then stay after to answer any questions. Please plan to grab your coffee and cookies and join us in the Chapel. The exhibit will remain through the end of February. We will be holding community open houses from 1-3 pm on February 5 and 26.
