Join us for a four-week study of the Acts of the Apostles using the Bible Project series. Each week, we’ll begin with a brief video and launch into a discussion about this remarkable book that tells the story of the early church. Acts is actually volume II of Luke-Acts, a two-volume work by the same author. Some scholars have argued it should be called “Acts of the Holy Spirit,” not “Acts of the Apostles,” as the Holy Spirit is far and away the most important figure, pushing the church into new territory and greater inclusivity. As we’ll see, in the first century the church was often playing catch-up, just as we are today. Be prepared to be surprised and challenged and blessed!
