Are you interested in learning more about membership with our church?
Have you been attending services for months or maybe years but have never joined? Or maybe you’ve just started to attend services but know it’s the church for you.
The fpcw Membership Committee has planned opportunities for visitors to learn more about fpcw and how they can grow in their faith along with us by becoming members. Our New Member’s classes meet in March and October each year, with the next one being offered on Saturday, March 18, from 9:30-11:30am. To attend, please rsvp to Sue Sklansky. The classes include discussions on Presbyterian beliefs and history, our relationship with Christ, the Mission and Values of fpcw, and how you can become more involved in the life of the church.
Should you decide to join the church following attending a class, you would be received into membership during a worship service soon after the class. If you are transferring membership from another church, we would assist in that process. About a month after you have joined we will offer a fellowship event for all new members following an evening worship service so you can get to know one another better, as well as meet some key church members.
For more information about membership, contact any of our pastoral staff, or Sue Sklansky, Director of Congregational Care and Engagement
