Music
The purpose of our music at First Presbyterian Church in Wenatchee is to glorify God, proclaim God's Word, and minister to and through God's people. We are committed to helping our church experinece celebrative worship through many differend worship styles. We have several ensembles of talented volunteer musicians who give their best to God and to each other. Come share with us the blessings of praising God through music!
Whether you enjoy singing in a choir that presents major choral masterworks, playing bass in a praise band that presents the newest in Christian praise music, or even participating in specialized instrumental ensembles or hand bell choir, there is a place in our Music Ministry for you!
The Praise Team leads worship every Sunday morning. They are a rotating team of volunteers who rehearse on Thursday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
The Trinity Choir leads worship and prepares anthems for both services from September to the first week in July.They meet weekly on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. No audition is required. The choir is open to high school age students and interested adult singers. Please seethe Fall Schedule for the choir performance dates.
Our Orchestra gives an opportunity for musicians of all ages to participate at various times of the year. We invite instrumentalists of high school age and older to play in occasional morning worship services.
Our Hand Bell Choir meets weekly on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. This group prepares music for worship several times a year and participates in special programs at Christmas and Easter.
Our Small Vocal & Instrumental Ensembles prepare special music for the Sundays when our choir is not present.
