Women’s Groups

New in 2017: Starting Again, a group for women who have experienced divorce.  We are currently looking for members and leaders for this group.  If you are interested in discussing how Christ is present in your life during and after this challenging time of life, let us know.  Contact Jana Jones for more information.

The Presbyterian Homes Group, a group of women residents of Pres Homes, meets on the first Thursday morning of the month at 9:30am for coffee, fellowship and Bible study, and meets in a gathering room at the Presbyterian Home in Evanston. For more information contact  Joyce Dunn.

The Spoke Group, a group of primarily retired women, meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:30 am for coffee, fellowship and Bible study. This group meets at fpcw in the Lounge. For more information contact  Bonnie Wehrenberg.

The Naomi Group meets on the 4th Tuesday evening of the month at 7:30pm, for fellowship and conversation about their faith in relation to their stage of life.  Most members have teens or are in the “empty nester” range, 50s to 60s. This group meets in member’s homes. For more information contact  Sue Sklansky.

The Lunch Group is a group for women of all ages.  They meet for lunch at Nancy Freeman’s home on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. For more information contact Nancy Freeman

Moms & Psalms is a group of moms (with children from birth through high school) who meet twice a month , on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 9:15 am. They gather at the chruch and child care is provided. This group follows a Bible study program and engages in authentic conversation, prayer and support for one another. For more information contact Jacqui Koch or  Judy Chudek

The Ruth Group meets on the 3rd Tuesday evening of the month at 7pm.  This group is for young women, 30s-50s who are interested in fellowship and topic centered on scripture and living out our Christian faith. For more information contact  Rev Erin Raska.
